Wool and The Gang. eek...its cold.

WATG is my new obsession, I love being part of the gang, the way you can all knit along and share your progress together is such a great idea, its just such a lovely commun-knit-y. :)
I decided to give my first knit project a go with the eek hat it was so fun to make and super easy.
(if you get stuck or have any trouble WATG tutorials will be there to help you out with anything from beginner to advanced. easy peasy.) I also had enough wool left over to make another hat, which is yet to be decorated with something fun...I need more wool. ahh.
I did decide to take my freshly knitted hat out on a winter adventure, so me and a friend went for a countryside walk and I have to say It did keep me nice and toasty...it's definitely got to be my favourite accessory at the minute.
It also has the power to make you feel super happy every time you wear it. Magic. Now if only i had some mittens. :)

I'm sensing there will be a lot more WATG projects happening very soon. :D
yey.

Pink hair don't care

hair - bleach london- rosé
knitwear spot dress & zigzag jumper - made by me.
dr martens aggy
stripe asymmetrical dress - asos (Ive had this a while.)
Nails - maybelline colour show black & street artist top coat.

I missed having my pink hair..I immediately fell in love with the colour rosé by Bleach London and haven't veered away from it, which is a big deal for me because I normally get bored of a colour and try to find a different one, but I love this colour too much... So having a bank holiday weekend and not much planned, I decided to return to my pink ways. yey.

I also wanted to sort out all my clothes that seem to be forming some sort of ever growing mountain in my room...but when you start rummaging through stuff its easy to get distracted and I came across my knitwear collection...I might just start wearing it. what do you think?

RIU Palace Mexico....

RIU Palace Mexico was an amazing place to stay. There was so much to do, beautiful scenery, endless cocktails (always good) and lovely weather of course. I thought it was pretty great.

Theres a bunch of activities you can try out on the beach, I did attempt kayaking (I was not a natural) and we did end up venturing far out then it took forever to try and find where we actually started from, very nearly crashing into a few people in the process. sorry.

I also took my Instax Mini along, which I suggest getting a case for as mine got pretty scratched and I had to keep it wrapped up in a t shirt..So I didn't end up taking it out as much as I would have liked. but I did manage to take some photos with it, and the settings on the top come in pretty handy to use with different lighting. Im glad I had it with me anyway.

Adventures in Mexico...

I escaped to Mexico, It truly is an amazing place...some of the mini adventures I had where just incredible and I thought I would share them with you.

I did spend quite a lot of time just relaxing with my kindle and a strawberry margarita on the beach for the first few days...but it's hard not to want to go and explore theres just so much to see...yes, that involves visiting a tequila museum.. I can honestly say Ive never drank so much tequila before.

swimming with dolphins, was amazing. I did get bullied into doing the 'foot push' thing...you know where you get pushed along ...with your feet... (that really didn't need explaining, did it? ha.)  I felt like king Triton from the little mermaid.

Chichen Itza has got to be the most magical place ever, everything about it is... just magic. Im so happy I finally got to go and explore it all for myself.
It was a 3 hour drive and the AC on the coach managed to die...we did get to switch coaches after an hour of being...on fire. (the only way to describe the level of heat) but it was worth it.

Visiting the Cenote, I've never seen anything like it, such a beautiful place. Its crazy how its just there down in a cave...I was told swimming in there made you look 10 years younger, but I still haven't transformed back into my teenage years so someones being telling lies. worth a try though, right? Ah well.

Glitter in their eyes...

jumper house of holland - ASOS.
Jeans - Tophop
Sandals - BANK
Nail varnish (toes) - maybelline colour show (black & street artist topcoat.)

I'm slowly becoming obsessed with anything reflective..(Maybe i'm half magpie?)  and I've been trying so hard to stay away from the Asos sale.. its a dangerous place..but once again my curiosity got the better of me and I immediately fell in love with this jumper (i blame the gems on the sleeves...so shiny.)
I also found these holographic sandals from Bank, which I plan to take on my holidays tomorrow...I do blame www.llymlrs.com for me wanting these so badly, as I first spotted them on her holiday outfits video and they just looked so cute.
I also decided to get my nails involved in the shiny obsession with some glitter, I've never had acrylics or shellac done before I just normally paint them myself but they alway chip so I wanted something that would last me a while longer...I love them. ahh.
Oh and thats my super cuddly cat..Smudge... what a cutie.

Cheap Monday...

I've always loved cheap monday, normally I only ever venture towards the jeans..Im not really sure why because they have lovely accessories.
I immediately fell in love with these chunky cat eye sunglasses..I don't really like buying sunglasses online because some glasses I just look silly in...well...most glasses, actually. ): so its easier to go and try them on in store..but I just couldn't resist getting these, and luckily they suited me and go with my face shape, right? I love the packaging it was delivered in as well, simplistic but charming.
I also found this 'paper' bag which can be used as a clutch or as a shoulder bag..handy. Its just the right size to use it for either day or night...its great.

Summer...

Topshop cropped t-shirt
Topshop B&W patterned skirt
 Necklace *
Newlook Sandals (ASOS)

Even though its not been a very sunny day today, its still been nice and warm...so I still got to enjoy my summer clothes. Im not normally someone who would wear skirts without tights, depending on the weather I would just change the denier rather than going without. (Is that weird..?) But today I couldn't find any so I thought 'ah what the hell'.
I really like this Topshop skirt. I was first drawn to it for the print and the fold detail at the front, Its so comfortable to wear and the material thickness it just right. Its super easy to pair with anything as well, a plain t-shirt or cami looks great..I also like the high waisted-ness of it. ( Ah..I don't even think thats a word? oh well.) I paired mine with this cropped baby blue T-shirt...I really like this colour against monochrome patterns.
Finally I wore my New look chunky sandals, which were such a bargain and my favourite buy so far...comfy, a nice price and did I mention chunky...perfect. ( I seriously have an unhealthy obsession with chunky shoes. )
